Alphabet Launches New Cybersecurity Business

Google parent company Alphabet, has launched an independent business called ” Chronicle ” which primarily focuses on cybersecurity.

The CEO of Chronicle, Stephen Gillet, said a large number of companies especially enterprises, experience thousands of cyber attacks daily but are unable to assess them well. This results in cyber attackers going undetected for many days, adding up to data breaches and high-security costs.

According to Stephen Gillet, Chronicle aims to detect cyber threats by critically analyzing and storing security-related data within enterprises.
