Twitter Suspends Users for ‘Tweetdecking’

Twitter users with multiple accounts have had their accounts suspended for engaging in tweetdecking. The move follows Twitter‘s ban on mass retweeting dedicated to curbing spam. ‘Tweetdecking’ is the practice of users plagiarizing tweets in order to attract followers.

‘Tweetdeck’, was originally an independent app until acquired by Twitter and integrated into Twitter‘s interface.  Many young people see tweetdecking as a lucrative business with income generation of up to 1,000 dollars a month.
