McAfee Report Reveals State of Cloud Adoption

McAfee, a global security company, has recently released the security report, “Navigating a Cloud Sky: Practical Guidance and the State of Cloud Security”. The report sought to find out the current state of cloud adoption, the basic concerns and effects of unmanaged cloud use associated with private and public cloud services.

The survey carried out on 1400 IT professionals, reported 97% of the professionals making use of one type of cloud service or the other and battling with visibility and data control issues.

In spite of the issues that come with its use, Rajiv Gupta, McAfee’s senior vice president of the cloud security business unit, has emphasized the need to carry out stricter security measures to ensure adequate visibility and effective control of cloud data hence improving businesses.
