Security Researchers Promote Different Passwords Use On Every Website

Two professors from the University of North Carolina are promoting the need for top Tech companies to communicate with each other by sharing passwords in order to prevent users reuse of passwords.  The professors, Ke Coby Wang and Michael Reiter proposed the only way to ensure passwords are not reused, is for a coordination to exist among websites.

It is quite common nowadays to find many people using the same password on multiple accounts. Consequently resulting in multiple breaches when one account gets hacked.

Although, Ke Coby Wang and Michael Reiter have emphasized there may be major security issues related to this design, such issues can be resolved through safety measures, they maintain.
