Google Robot Assistant to Book Appointments For Owners

Google, one of the biggest tech giants, recently gave a demo on its new intelligence software at its annual IO developer’s event. The software, Google Virtual Assistant, would book appointments by conducting voice-based conversations on behalf of users.

In a demonstration at the event, the audience heard conversations between the Robot Assistant, Google Duplex, and two human employees booking a haircut and restaurant reservation. The computer generated voice sounded very natural as compared to other pre-recorded voice notes in the past.

The CEO of Google, Sundar Pichai, informed the audience, about the software’s efficiency if correctly programmed and its revenue generation capability for businesses.
