Kaspersky Lab Discovers North Americans are Stressed over Data Breach News

Kaspersky lab researchers, have discovered in their new survey, that over 2000 American and Canadian  internet users in the survey, are stressed over news of data breaches. According to the report, 81% of Americans and 72% of Canadian IT consumers admitted to lack of awareness on cybersecurity protection.

The report, themed “State of Cyber Stress” further revealed younger people had an issue keeping track of login details for several online accounts. The constant need to protect data online accelerates the cyber-stress.

Brian Anderson, Vice President of Kaspersky consumer sales department, expressed the need for technology companies to educate consumers on cyber threats.
