Microsoft to Take Possession of GitHub

Github, one of the leading code hosting service providers, will soon be acquired by Microsoft.  Microsoft will buy Github at 7.5 billion US dollars. Although, the acquisition will be completed by the end of the year, the complete details of the process is yet to be made public.

Github in the last few months, were on the search for a new CEO after co-Founder Chris Wanstrath made plans to retire. The search is completed as Microsoft Corporate Vice President, Nat Friedman is to be appointed the next CEO.

Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, impressed Github after taking many coding initiatives and supporting developers.
