Facebook, a social networking company, recently acquired a London-based artificial intelligence firm, Bloomsbury AI to improve understanding of human speech in its operations. Bloomsbury AI, the London-based firm is said to have been bought by Facebook at an amount between $23 million and $30 million.
In a post from the official Facebook academic page, the tech giant announced its commitment to the improvement of natural language processing. Facebook will deploy technology to address fake news and other content issues on its platform. Facebook intends to use more of Algorithms in order to understand languages better.
