A 16 year old Australian boy managed to hack into Apple, a global multinational tech company’s network and files. The teen pleaded guilty to retrieving over 90 gigabytes of files in a span of one year.
The teenage boy, name withheld for legal reasons, had dreams of working with Apple some day. The devices he used matched the serial numbers of the devices that accessed the systems of Apple’s files. He was discovered in his home at Melbourne by the Australian Federal Police. This follows the smartphone manufacturer’s discovery of hacked files in their system.
Apple, has since informed users that customer data was not compromised.
