MoneyGram to Mobile Money Transfers now Possible In Ghana

MoneyGram International Inc, a US-based money transfer company, recently partnered with Zeepay Ghana to improve money transfer services. The partnership will enable customers across the globe to transfer money directly to over 11 million mobile money accounts in Ghana.

Grant Lines, Chief Revenue Officer for MoneyGram, is optimistic of the new partnership being able to offer customers real-time services and money transfer options.

The MoneyGram–Zeepay partnership will allow users to send money through MoneyGram Online or from any of the locations spread across 200 countries. The Managing Director of Zeepay, Andrew Taki Appiah said that he looked forward to the development of digital payment ecosystem in Ghana.
