Google Compensates for YouTube TV Outage

Google’s video-sharing website, YouTube, had a major power outage that affected subscribers of YouTube TV and YouTube music. Following the incident, Google apologized to affected YouTube subscribers and compensated them with a free week of credits.

In a note to YouTube subscribers, the video-sharing website said they were extremely sorry about the impromptu outage that occurred on October 16th. The free week credit is expected to be available on Wednesday, October 24th. YouTube TV and music subscribers will only be eligible to the free credit if the forms emailed over the weekend have been filled.
