Following recent news about the data-breach scandal between Facebook and Cambridge Analytica, Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, finally broke his silence over the issue. In a post on Facebook, Mark, highlights that although Facebook took steps years ago to prevent the scandal, there is a need for further action to prevent future occurrences.
Zuckerberg laid out three steps to rebuild user trust. Firstly, Facebook will further restrict app developers’ access to users data. Secondly, audits will be performed on apps that had access to users information. Finally, Facebook will provide its users, clarity on the apps accessing their private information.
