Google Gives School Bus Riders Free Wi-Fi And Chromebooks

Google, an American multinational Technology company, recently announced its ongoing initiative to provide free Wi-Fi and Chromebooks to school bus riders in rural areas. The initiative named “Rolling Study Programs”, was announced by Google employees at a school in Denver, Colorado.

Google officials said the initiative will help thousands of students utilize their drive time more effectively. The program is specific to kids in rural areas, with a low-speed home Internet access and having long bus rides to school. “Rolling Study Programs” will be free for participants and will provide service to 70 buses in 16 districts across 12 states in the US.
