Google to Shut Down Inbox by Gmail in 2019

Google, the global search engine and email service provider is shutting down its email app by March 2019. Google‘s “Inbox by Gmail” app users will have to switch to Gmail to access their emails.

“Inbox by Gmail” app was launched in 2014 as an alternative innovation to the existent Gmail app. Over the years, the email app despite its customized innovative features including being a storage centre for new Gmail features had few numbers of users. This follows Google’s update of Gmail to incorporate “Inbox by Gmail” app features.
