Kaspersky Lab, a global cyber-security company, has launched a competition themed Secur’IT CUP that will have students and young professionals competing against each other. The competition invites participants aged 18- 28 from around the world to submit projects aimed at solving cyber-security issues in three areas.
The three areas include Connected Health, Personal Security and Internet of Things. The competition, Secur’IT CUP is aimed at involving the younger generation from around the world to contribute positively to the cyber-security industry.
The competition is expected to be held with hackathons, sprint-like events among computer programmers in various locations across the globe. This year’s competition will run from 1st September 2018 to 4th November 2018. The finalists will win a paid trip to Budapest for the finals and stand the chance to win a prize of $10,000.
