Microsoft-GitHub Acquisition to Empower Developers

Following Microsoft’s acquisition of Github, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, has announced in a global conference that empowerment of developers will be a major focus.

The two companies are looking to introduce Microsoft’s services to new markets and also encourage the enterprise use of GitHub. Nadilla added that, GitHub will remain independently headed by its CEO, Nat Friedman but report to Microsoft Cloud and AI Group Executive Vice President Scott Guthrie.

The new development follows the recent news surrounding the acquisition of GitHub by Microsoft. Microsoft bought GitHub, one of the world’s largest computer code designers at 7. 5 billion US dollars. The acquisition comes after Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella, impressed Github after taking many coding initiatives and supporting developers.
