Positive Technologies Discover Web Apps Susceptible to Security Breach

Positive Technologies, a leading global provider of enterprise security solutions, has discovered that, 100% of web apps are susceptible to at least one security breach. It was further found that financial, government and e-commerce web apps were the most at risk.

From the discovery, 85% of the 33 web apps gave attackers access to users accounts through cross-site scripting.

Leigh-Anne Galloway, cyber security resilience lead, recommends analyzing application source code early enough with the use of automated tools. The analysis prevents future security vulnerabilities from occurring.
