Samsung New Flexible Screen Design Meets Safety Standards

Samsung Display, one of the subsidiaries of Samsung Electronics, a South Korean multinational conglomerate, recently developed a foldable screen that just passed safety standards in the United States. The newly safe flexible screen is expected to help the South Korean Tech company gain new advertising grounds in the smartphone market.

The flexible screen received certification from the Underwriters Laboratories Inc, a multinational certification company. The test involved the screen falling from a height of 1.2 meters 26 times. The screen was successful in the test as it had no breakages or damage at its edges.

Samsung Display, informed the public that, the new flexible screens are made of plastic instead of glass. This feature makes it impossible to break.
