Startup Tech Firm in South Africa Creates More Opportunities For Artisans

In South Africa, a local online platform company, Kandua, has recently partnered with Leroy Merlin, a French homeware improvement retailer. Kandua established in 2014, links homeowners and building maintenance managers to professional artisans.

The partnership will ensure that every Leroy Merlin customer will have the opportunity to choose a professional artisan to work on any Leroy Merlin product. Additionally, the partnership will encourage contractors to train homeowners on the basic tasks at home.

Lucas du Toit, the co-founder of Kandua, is optimistic that the new partnership with Leroy Merlin will provide a complete set of services to customers.
