Twitter to Change Chronological Order of Tweets

Twitter is making plans to update the order in which feeds appear on users’ timelines. The update on feeds will see the previous algorithmic timeline updated to a non-algorithmic, reverse-chronological order of tweets. Twitter says this update is meant to give users more control over their timeline.

The new update is effected when the settings box that reads “show the best tweets first” is unmarked. Twitter‘s update will give users the option to change between algorithmic and chronological timelines.
