Twitter Users Encouraged to Change Passwords Due to Potential Malicious Codes Infection

Users of the social media platform, Twitter, are being encouraged to immediately change their passwords, due to malicious codes that seem to have affected Twitter’s internal servers. Over three hundred and thirty million users have since been affected.

Twitter informed users that there was a malicious code that prevented the masking of Twitter passwords. Thus, passwords stored in their system were in plain-text before being encrypted. Although, Twitter has fixed the issue, Twitter cautions users to secure their passwords by changing them.
