Google Chrome Silences Auto-Play Videos

Google Chrome, the most popularly used web browser, has introduced a new feature to silent websites that automatically play videos. Users would get the option to mute videos before it plays.

The new feature is expected to allow users to:

•  permanently block auto-play videos on a particular website domain.
• set videos with no sound on auto-play mode.
• indicate the videos with sounds they wish to put on auto-play mode based on frequent websites they visit.
